Product Overview & Application

The Attack SLX 30 Lambda Touch wood gasification boiler is a log wood boiler with a nominal output of 30 kW, designed for heating single-family homes, vacation homes, small businesses, and similar buildings. This model is intended for dry split logs and is suitable for heating systems that require a powerful wood heating system with modern controls, a large loading chamber, and a buffer tank.

Technology & Equipment

The boiler operates on the wood gasification principle with an induced draft fan. The boiler body is made of 6 mm steel plate, the loading chamber features a dry jacket, and in the Lambda Touch version, combustion is controlled via a lambda sensor, flue gas, and boiler temperature. In this version, air supply and turbulator cleaning are automatic, and internet connectivity with remote control is possible.

The large loading chamber makes log firing easier in daily use and reduces the frequency of reloading. The controlled combustion supports stable operation, while the automatic turbulator cleaning in the Lambda Touch version increases operating convenience. At nominal output, a long burn time is possible depending on the fuel and fill level, making the boiler particularly interesting for users who want to use wood efficiently with manageable operating effort.

System Integration & Compatibility

The Attack SLX 30 Lambda Touch is designed for operation with a buffer tank. The manufacturer recommends a buffer volume of 2,200 liters for this output class and requires a return temperature boost to ensure the return temperature does not fall below 65 °C. For integration, a suitably sized chimney with 23 Pa draft, a thermal drain safety device or a functional cooling circuit, and installation by a qualified specialist company must be planned.

Installation

Installation must be carried out in a suitable boiler room by a qualified specialist company. Operation requires an adequate combustion air supply, compliance with safety clearances, a suitably sized chimney, and professional integration into the heating system with return temperature boost and cooling circuit. Approximately 1 m of clearance should be available in front of the boiler, and at least 0.5 m on the sides and rear.

Notes

The boiler is intended for dry wood with 12 to 20% moisture content. The manufacturer recommends a boiler water temperature of 80 to 90 °C and points out that continuous operation below 50% output should be avoided. Installation in living spaces or hallways is not permitted.
